Method Forty Eight: SUWI

Hello and welcome to Method Forty Eight. This edition is brought to you by our new favourite band, the Belgian three-piece SUWI.

With Mattias on bass, Cyriel on guitar and Elias on drums, SUWI’s music is delicate, ethereal and beautiful stuff. It’s music that doesn’t try too hard, it uses a little to say a lot and it’s some damn good mellowness if you ask us.

As with their own music, this lovely mix keeps things stripped-back and easy going, floating along through Dorothy Ashby harps, soft desert blues and the wistful sounds of Connan Mockasin. Do yourself a favour and take a load of with this for an hour.
